Question about preganancy.....?

This is a question for women or anyone in the medical field...

I have not had a period since November 22, which would leave me a month and a 1/2 late. I took 2 at home tests, both were negative. I went to the doc on the 22 of Jan, they did a urine pregnancy test and said it was negative as well. I had a pap done, everything was normal (got my results yeaterday)They also drew blood to check my thyroid and everything came back normal, so... The doc gave me a 5 day pill to make me start my period. Which, I started that day (the 22nd) He said I would start anywhere from 5-10 days. I am on my 10th day and nohting....no signs of me starting. My breats are swollen and hurt really bad (not sure if that says anything~they have been for about 3 days now~never hurt this bad) I called the doc this morning to ask about it and they were gone for the day. Can anyone help me out w/ any thought or has anyone experienced anything like this? I thought I might be pregnant and my HCG levels are low??? >

I am 21. I thought the pill they gave me was the balance my hormones but it hasn't done anything. I don't have the desire to be pregnant, so I doubt I'm making myself feel this way. I've never been this late in my life, so i'm just a little confused. I was just wondering if anyone had ever experienced this....

Sounds like your doctor thinks a hormonal imbalance. They should have done a blood draw for pregnancy and you can request it (a blood draw is more accurate).

You didn't say how old you were. If your in your teens or early 20's it's most likely a hormonal imbalance. There could be a variety of things going on at this point. Keep in contact with your doctor.
