Please can someone advise me on an ultrasound scan?
I have got to have a pelvic ultrasound scan tommorrow it says my bladder must be full by drinking a litre of water so my pelvic organs can be seen but it doesn't say anything about food so do you think it will still be ok to eat before the scan or shall I not eat before the scan incase it was missed out on the letter. I'm worried about it all help is appreciated i've never had a scan before

Eating is fine--just make sure to drink lots of water and do not pee.It will be a bit uncomfortable having a bladder that full,but is well worth it to get a better scan = )
