how many people are dealing with lyme disease in Tennessee?

I have seen many doctors, GP's. neuros and infectious disease specialist that all have said there is no Lyme Disease in Tennessee. It took an opthalmologist to find it when I went completely blind for no apparent reason. I have since lost my vision 6 times and so far with the injections and the drops every hour and the drops to keep my eyes dilated I feel fortunate that he was able to save my vision. I just wondered if anyone else here in TN had some of the same problems, ie.. migraines, aches, pains that are excrutiating.

Thanks for any comment you may have.

I read an article in the AMA that said 8 people were affected in 2005. This data is also confirmed by the CDC. I have a friend from Nashville and he was diagnosed in 1998. He had all your symptons except for the blindness. However, he had minor eye problems. The big thing was rash city, joint pain, muscle pain and other minor problems listed with the AMA.

The CDC does say Tennessee has the disease. It was your governor that vetoed money for research.
