why isn't my neti pot working?
I am really really congested, and my neti pot's water can't get through the mucus, is this normal? because, i got it for congestion, but it only works when i'm not congested......
I am using a gray plastic sinucleanse pot
would a different pot helP?

Possibly if your pot holds only 8 oz., you might have better success with a larger one.
Herbs and essential oils help, too. Massage the outside of the nose with Lavender oil, to reduce inflamation. Put a few drops of Eucalyptus oil & a couple drops of Lavender on top of simmering water. With eyes tightly closed and a towel over your head, inhale the vapors. Even through your mouth if necessary.
Might try taking the bioflavinoid Quercetin in combination with nettles & bromelain. Take on an empty stomach for best results. Then when you have the congestion just slightly under control, you should have better results from your pot. Use it during those times of day when you have a bit of air coming through at least one nostril.
